Lloyds Bank and The Sun are inviting the small businesses who have given their all over the past year to enter a competition to win valuable online face-to-face business advice.
Small and local businesses up and down the country have shown courage, energy and inspiration in dealing with the challenges of the pandemic. Many have gone out of their way to support their local communities, too.
Lloyds Bank wants to reward the biggest-hearted with the opportunity to receive expert advice and support from a prominent business leader.
You can enter yourself, or nominate a business you know. So, if you’re a small business owner or trader and think a mentoring session would help you, or if you work for a small local shop or company and would like to give your employer a boost, why not go for it?
Our online mentoring sessions will take place in early September with entrepreneurs Steven Bartlett and Dominic Cools-Lartigue. Each session will offer up to 5 winning business owners the opportunity to meet one of our two mentors online.
To enter, we want to hear why your nominated business deserves the chance to receive extra support. Tell us all about your lockdown learnings and how the company has dealt with the challenges of the pandemic.
The competition runs Monday, June 7 - Sunday, July 18. Entries will be shortlisted by News UK and the final winners judged by Anthony Impey, CEO of Be The Business. Winners will be selected on the basis of how creatively and how quickly they adapted to the challenges of the pandemic, and how they went above and beyond expectations.
